INSTRUCTOR
Ole Flemming Nielsen - Primary school teacher – now retired. Potter through 40 years. Interested in historical projects (clay and iron). Cooperates with museums and historical workshops. Creates exhibitions, educational materials and holds a course on request.
Always available for advice.

Price
Individually at one of our regular courses 500 DKK + materials
or
form a group (1- 5) and get a course for 1500 DKK – then we’ll find a date for you

Materials:
Knives, spoons, juniper sticks 5 DKK / each
Finely sifted sand 15 DKK / kg
Shale 7.50 DKK / Kg
Shale with sand mixed with 15 DKK / kg

Skills
It is not necessary to have experience with clay.
However, it is recommended that participants at home to make a few attempts before the course
(Clay and CD with detailed instructions can possibly be bought here on Knudsgaard).
The idea is that you have tried a little ahead, then you will be able to ask qualifying questions and make specific requests. You will have time to make 2-3 pots.
(Course of 4 days does not give time for pots larger than about 4 liters)

Firing
Firing one's own pots can not be done at the course,
they must dry very slowly (less than 10 days)
You can do it at home or make an appointment , then I’ll fire your pots later.
(About 50 crowns / pot depending on size)
